ABOUT US
Voices of Mercy Outreach Ministries began in 2003 when Pastor Devin O’Neal, newly free from a life of addiction, heard God say, “Go to Zion City.” The Lord told him, “To be effective in the inner city, you will have to unify the Church—and unifying the Church will be harder than going into the inner city!”
After visiting this inner-city area of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Pastor Devin experienced the Lord’s heart for the children and people of the community. That moment launched over 15 years of weekly outreach, kids’ camps, revivals, and Sidewalk Saturday School—bringing the Gospel and tangible love to the streets.
Today, we are pursuing a Christian neighborhood school, surrounded by a community development project—continuing our mission to transform lives through the love and power of Jesus Christ.

ABOUT US
Voices of Mercy Outreach Ministries began in 2003 when Pastor Devin O’Neal, newly free from a life of addiction, heard God’s call while driving through Zion City, an inner-city neighborhood in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
After witnessing children fighting over a shopping cart, he heard the Lord say, “That’s all they teach here—I want you to teach love.” That moment launched 15 years of weekly outreach, kids’ camps, revivals, and Sidewalk Saturday School, bringing the Gospel and tangible love to the streets.

The Trail of Tears
In 2022, the Trail of Joy Tour was born, prophetically reversing the sorrow of the Trail of Tears through worship, repentance, and unity. Starting in Salem Oregon and ending in Miami Florida, the tour retraced the path of early missionaries like Jason Lee, carrying the Word of God back across the land. Voices of Mercy has become a modern-day circuit rider movement, taking the Gospel where it's most needed, uniting the Church, and calling communities back to God.

Recovery Homes Open
In 2004, Pastor Devin’s wife opened their home to a woman in addiction with nowhere else to turn. That simple act of compassion birthed Revelation House for Women, a 14-year ministry that provided hope and healing for hundreds. In 2013, Revelation House for Men was born through a miraculous provision—God provided a house for just $1 a year. For nearly a decade, both homes offered safe, Spirit-led environments for men and women seeking freedom from addiction.
But the call was bigger than just individual transformation—it was about healing the Church and unifying the Body. In 2019, that vision expanded through the launch of One Blood Revivals—citywide gatherings for racial healing and Church unity. These events have traveled from Louisiana to Minnesota and North Carolina, igniting a hunger for reconciliation and revival
During this time we hosted 11 seven-day tent revivals with four grassroots workshops. Reclaim education, reclaiming family, disciple making movement workshops and Shepherds and Sheriffs conferences
